These records range from the years 1852 to 1866. The immigration contracts are included within these records. The contracts include the indentured immigrants’ name, the Province of China from which they originated, the ship on which they arrived in Trinidad and the date on which the contract was signed. Some records also list the names of passengers on board a ship, their occupations, marital status, number of children and the estate on which they worked in Trinidad.
